Timelapse. Drawing the skull

Hi!

Today we’re drawing the skull. The reference and the finished piece are attached to the post as files.

Watch the symmetry. I recommend driving the horizontals right through, so the structure holds together. It’s also not worth working every part of the skull up equally — break them into planes and give more attention to the nearest one.

In the front view the accents are the brow ridges, the upper outer corner where the eye socket breaks, the projecting part of the nasal bone, the cheekbones and the protruding part of the upper jaw.
