Sketches of a reclining male figure

Hi!

Today — a video lesson on drawing a male figure lying down. With this video lesson I’m opening a series on sketching the male figure in difficult poses.

First you need to establish the figure’s overall dimensions. To do that, fix its most protruding parts — the head, the shoulder, and the foot of the right leg. Once we have that simplified scheme, we start laying in volume and building up a more interesting structure.
