30 November — 6 December
Redo one of your old pieces
Find a drawing of yours from a year ago and draw the same subject again, without peeking at the old one. Then put them side by side. It is the most honest way to see what has changed — and it is always more than it seems. Post both pieces together.
7–13 December
Working through your mistakes
Take a piece that didn’t work out this year and go through it in writing: what exactly failed — construction, value, composition. Then draw it again, fixing only what you named. Show the write-up and the new version.
14–20 December
Favorite topic of the year
Pick the topic that landed best for you this year and make one finished piece on it — no limits on time or medium. This is your result for the year: the thing you want to show. Any format.
21–27 December
The year-end sheet
Put six small drawings on one sheet — one for each topic of the year that came hardest. Don’t take them far: the point is to go around the whole circle and see it at once. Any medium.
28 December — 3 January
Plans for next year
Draw what you can’t do yet but want to be able to do a year from now. However it comes out. Write down what exactly was missing. This sheet will come in handy in December next year. Any format.
