Week 4. Extra practice. Drawing spheres and fruit

There will be no complex compositions or character anatomy in this practice session. We’ll be drawing simple spheres and fruit, so that we understand once and for all how warm and cool light behave on three-dimensional objects, and lock that in. We’ll work out what color the highlight has to be relative to the light and the halftone, so the color reads as solid and interesting.

The basics of color and painting aren’t going to understand themselves 🙂
